The latest addition to the salvaged metals I forge with: ALUMINUM! Extremely lightweight, but very strong once forged, it has the appearance of silver, but is nickel free and does not readily tarnish. Plus, it is plentiful in salvage yards, especially in all of our throw away computer components!
This double calla lily ring was forged out of a single U.S. Quarter from 1973. I like to challenge myself with my materials and my patterns - this one was fun! Hope you like it!
